Ricoh has successfully achieved the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 4 rating for the improved processes from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

CMMI Maturity Level 4 is often referred as “defined”, which implies that the works on established sets of defined and detailed standard processes that are liable to undergo some level of improvement with the passage of time. These standard processes are appropriately arranged and employed for maintaining a consistency in performance of the processes across the organization.

Realizing the significance of adaptive and repeatable processes, we took a step forward with the CMMI initiative as an attempt to provide our clients with exceptional quality, reliability, and productivity, in every aspect.

We’ve implemented this philosophy of continuous improvement in several disciplines across the business, such as requirements management, project management, data collection, resource allocation, configuration management, interface compatibility, availability management, quality assurance, verification and validation, risk management, and more.

Lastly, we have successfully implemented this approach not only to a particular team, but to our projects, work groups, and throughout the organization. It is just not we who recognized huge number of benefits of adopting this approach, but our clients acknowledged the same. Some of the benefits are improved communications among team, increased project efficiency, elevated project cycles, quality improvements, and more.

In addition, we are highly motivated to work on progressive measures so as to reach a notch higher and acquiring the CMMi level 4 with précised management of procedures.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)- The Office Equipment Partner of the Year award is EPA’s highest industry award. Ricoh has also been recognized as an industry leader for its role in the manufacture and promotion of ENERGY STAR Office equipment.

The Deming Award The Deming Award recognizes corporations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to quality control. Less than 100 select companies have won the Deming Medal worldwide. Today, Ricoh is the only such company to have won this award twice.

Ethisphere Institute Ricoh Named to Ethisphere’s 2013 "World's Most Ethical Companies" for five Year in a Row.

Blue Angel Mark In 1999, Ricoh earned the 'Highly Recommended' appraisal from KOM, the German environment agency. Ricoh was rated first among the eleven electronics companies which included companies such as Sony, Ericsson and Nokia.
